I think Alexander once told me that I should ask some of the older Baritones members for a history lesson--to learn what things used to be like for your unit. That was after I scolded him for keeping quiet about just about everything with me.

Frankly I would consider myself a newer member. Eichi or Absinthe would be who to inquire with.

I'm somewhat aware of what the problems were, but faced few myself. Especially if he meant in regards to the internal state of the unit.

Internal state, yes. He did tell me to ask Eichi, Yvette or Kohime... But I know Kohime only in passing, Yvette I've never spoken to and Eichi I've only befriended recently. Though he did tell me he's come quite a long way in terms of being open!

I doubt Kohime a good resource anyway, given her complex relationship with the unit. Yvette or Eichi certainly would know best.

Not at all. He had been here for a long time before my own arrival. My arrival would be not that long before Lily's.

I do. But Alexander spoke of it as though it's only a chance, not a guarantee... And I also found myself wondering if it's possible for me at all.

...A lot of my lovers are human, however... I do find myself a little worried how things might go. Then again, there is no guarantee that these relationships will persist until the day we return.

Mm. That is.. indeed a concern. But it is better to focus on the happiness you have with them now. The future will come whether you worry or not.

If by the time you leave there are those you cannot part from, you can address it then. To take them home with us or seek a way to their world.

A reliable means to traverse between worlds is something we are attempting to master. But it is not yet finished. I have full faith we will unlock the secrets to it, but for now it is certainly something to consider carefully.

Alexander and I are able to traverse between worlds but our methods cannot be used by others, even you.

It requires forsaking your flesh. While living on as an untethered soul is quite within your power, I do not think you should pursue the experience. Especially when other means can be found.

Forsaking your body is not an experience I recommend. Not for any reason. It is not exactly reversible.

Moreover very few have the gift enough to see what is not physical. To interact with the material world you would need a body to possess. You could learn to take over corpses, I suppose, but that comes with its own unpleasantness.

Better to work on a viable method.
