Wouldn't it be nice to believe in a higher power? To know that you are protected, that there is something out there, looking out for you, that it's going to be all right?

Deep down, he wants to believe. Perhaps not directly in Zodiark - his feelings on the matter are complicated, - but in the salvation of his people, in the return home, in kindness and peace and harmony being in the nature of the universe.
