Of course part of that was because it was a really hard time for all of us-- but more than that I remember that's when you told me you considered me your girlfriend. Not just... some girl you went on one maybe kinda date with. But someone you really cared for.
It was pretty shocking, actually... but you were so earnest. It made me really happy.
And that's part of the reason I really hated those eyes. Because deep down I knew they would always be a reminder of the worst parts of that day. So I wasn't sad to see them go. But... I'm really happy. Hell gave me those horrid things. But these new ones... they're coming from somewhere special. And I'll treasure them always.
