[You are greeted with the sound of randomly disrupted static, at the end of which three melodic beeping signals are heard. Yep, that's your cue to leave a message!]
[Okay he's definitely just saying things so Levity doesn't worry and make a big deal about it because it actually fills him with existential dread and makes him dissociate. He has no clue if he can fix it. But he has ideas and he's pretty sure it must have been way more messed up when he died and stuff? So probably can fix if he can get the pieces back?? Don't worry about it!
...He almost says no but hhh fine Levity is afforded Ascians & co rights.]
...If you can manage without hurting yourself, I suppose.
[The scales probably won't hurt if he does it slowly enough! He wraps his arms around Vergil - or as much of Vergil as he can, this is a big demon boy, - carefully and rests his head against his chest. Hopefully(?) he won't get sucked into Vergil's soul again?]
...Alexander says I was an expert on souls. I'm sure I could help you too, once I remember enough.
[He just...pats Levity's head awkwardly. There there. And yes he is safe from being soul vored this time. Congrats.]
I doubt anything can be done here, but I do anticipate seeking assistance from your people should my ideas fail. But really. Don't worry about it. You wanted to study my wings.
[Wings: out! He gives them all a flap or two individually to show he can control each without involving another. Their span is...pretty huge all together, which is exactly why he tries to keep them tucked in and folded up most of the time in Imeeji.]
[Wingies!!! Levity looks pretty impressed. This is really cool.]
I didn't realize they were that big! Hmm, let's see... I imagine you rely on magic during flight at least somewhat? I believe that under normal aerodynamics laws those separations on them would affect trajectory and add needless air resistance.
Hm, I've never exactly thought about it consciously. But I suppose I do, yes. The whole thing is held together with magic really so more or less anything would have to involve it somehow.
Indeed... But we are rather more restricted in our usage of magic here--although now that I think of it, you could probably circumvent a lot of the physics with Common Law? I'm not entirely certain about the precise limitations of the ability.
It can't affect something already happening in the area, so for example something like gravity is always impossible. It also only affects a certain area, so while I could say "wings can be used to fly" so long as no one had already attempted and failed, if I moved outside that space I would plummet. It's quite a small range at that, so the frequency of creating the law again to avoid that would be constant.
[Curse you useless hell magic. Levity sighs then circles Vergil a little to come touch one of the wings.]
Well, the solution I'd propose is somehow making your wings strong enough to carry you, with perhaps some additional gear to supplement the wing shape to be more viable for magicless flight. My main idea is some manner of an anti-gravity generator, and I know Intensity's made a hoverbike for Izanagi, so that's something to base it off of. Of course, in the case of a living creature the problem is the way the lack of gravity pull would affect your body - organs, specifically.
Of course you wouldn't. Well... In that case what I am concerned with is your sense of balance and how it would be affected in zero gravity, so we'll need to run some tests on that. It would also likely not be necessary to fully negate your body weight, depending on how strong your wings are under our daily conditions. Now... can you show me how you usually fly?
[Why would he care if he got a little hurt in the process!]
Sure.
[He does more or less simulate some regular flight with them, flapping to take off and such. But he definitely just sort of levitates in midair and while he positions them in such a way it looks like they could be doing something to help with drag and such, they aren't really part of what propels him forward or anything.
Why should you be envious of someone else because I look impressive...? I suppose he is the one who sees me this way most often, but there still is no reason to be envious of that.
Actually, I would say that's exactly the reason. I assume you're in demon form with him more often without him needing to go out of his way to ask you for it, which is what I would have to do every time I want to see you as a demon.
Not especially, I do spend time with Lahabrea in dreams quite often, Hades as well, but the latter tends to invite or remind me to transform. It's hardly that much.
Mm... I don't think you need bother with invitations so much. I know Cosmo quite adores your demon form; I'm certain he'd be delighted to see you like that without anyone reminding you.

I would think so. I have already done so in some capacity to exist as I am now. It should be easy really.

[He pulls away finally, smiling up at Vergil before taking a few steps back.]
Thank you. Now, where were we?
[okay time for WINGIES. Levity looks him over critically at first.]
Alright... Can you spread them out?
