[You are greeted with the sound of randomly disrupted static, at the end of which three melodic beeping signals are heard. Yep, that's your cue to leave a message!]
Less a manipulation tactic, perhaps, and more some strange misdirection. And when the truth came out, I would likely have called you a fool a lot more than I already have.
[Lifts his head to give Emet a quick kiss, though, just to show that he's (mostly) teasing.]
[Scooting behind him, he brushes his fingers down the sides of his neck before he gathers his hair. From somewhere in the apron of his maid outfit he digs out a comb and begins to braid it. The actions are soft and it just as much a scalp massage as it is salon treatment, but in the end he does produce a certain familiar side-braid style.]
[He hums softly as Emet braids his hair; it's surprisingly pleasant and relaxing, and he almost finds himself dozing off. Seeing the end result brings another smile to his face and he gently runs his fingers over the braid, then turns to face Emet.]
... You are terribly sentimental.
[He certainly likes it, though, because he leans in to give Emet a soft kiss.]
[Said a little sluggishly because he's just getting comfy and is glad Hythlodeaus is on board with the lazy snuggles as he wraps his tentacles around him.]
[That gets more pleased noises from him along with something that sounds like an affirmative to his inquiry in there somewhere. He's just quite happy and almost dozing on his bestie.]
Re: Day 440
[He is absolutely smug as he kisses his shoulder.]
And here I was going to attribute my new ability to express my feelings on the maid outfit and the tentacles?
[To which he does pat his hip with a tentacle.]
Re: Day 440
Well, those do help. But you still had to wait until fans sent us provocative work before you had to admit that you still have feelings for me.
Re: Day 440
Re: Day 440
I would not have been surprised if you had brought it up and then immediately cut all ties with me.
Re: Day 440
In turn, would you not have thought of it as some odd manipulation tactic if the delivery was rather sudden?

Re: Day 440
And would you mind resting with this fool? Your unitmates wouldn't mind an extra guest for the night, correct?
Re: Day 440
Of course they won't. We're quite the friendly unit, after all.
Re: Day 440
I suppose I should offer you one 'service' in exchange for being my pillow. Could you turn around?
Re: Day 440
I certainly hope you don't have pranks in mind.
[BUT OKAY, HE'LL TURN AROUND]

Thank you.
Re: Day 440
Of course I am. It is one of my best features.
[And then he's semi-tackling him back onto the bed to use him as a pillow now that the deed is done.]
Re: Day 440
Careful, now. You don't want to ruin my hair right after you braided it, do you?
Re: Day 440
I suppose I will simply have to braid it again. Or a third time if necessary.
Re: Day 440
[Snuggling up to Emet and closing his eyes contentedly, just breathing in his scent and feeling the warmth of his body. This is nice, actually.]

Re: Day 440
[He murmurs with a soft chuckle, resting a hand over one of the tentacles to pet it.]
Re: Day 440
[He makes a soft yet keen sound at the petting brushing the tentacle up into his hand.]
Re: Day 440
I take it you feel the tactile input from the tentacles?
Re: Day 440
Re: Day 440
... I love you, Hades.
Re: Day 440
I love you, too.
