[You are greeted with the sound of randomly disrupted static, at the end of which three melodic beeping signals are heard. Yep, that's your cue to leave a message!]
He did back down very quickly when I tried this with him, indeed!
[Oh, but this reminds him.]
Oh, what if you try to fluster me? We played this game with Nero too, but he had absolutely nothing on me. I've yet to tell Vergil his son lost at something.
Hm. Why indeed. Perhaps your desire for attention, affirmation and affection to combat your existential uncertainties, as well as isolation of your position as an immoral among mortals?
[He takes a sip of tea.]
Well, if he was fine that is fine. But do be kind, Nero has his own hangups and jealousies.
[Levity pauses, weighing up the analysis. Yep, checks out.]
Those, yes, but also genuine curiosity as to what you think would fluster me. And flirting is a fun way to pass the time, regardless of how serious it is.
And, mm... Well, Jason was there. If I'd said anything that made Nero uncomfortable, I'm certain he'd have nailed me to the wall instantly.
[He chuckles.]
In truth, all I really said was that they're really cute together and I'm happy for them. Apparently, that was enough to make Nero spontaneously combust.
I know Vergil is not exactly thrilled about Jason being Nero's partner, but I think they truly love each other. Jason is a good, caring man... simply one who's endured too much to love himself or be openly vulnerable. And in that regard he's not much different from many you know, hmm?
[He smiles, and this time instead of a scone he's just... going to eat a spoonful of jam.]
I don't know if I would call it my hobby, but it's fun nonetheless.
I have never spoken to Jason much about aught but business, but I have had the pleasure of hearing his younger brother rant on his behalf. And certainly that description could be most of this unit, or others I love.
Ah yes, Talon! Jason is incredibly fond of him as well. And I would tell you to try and speak with Jason more, but... I think you may be too old for that.
[Hello fellow teens.]
And, well... Perhaps it's simply because I like people?
As for flirting... Not at all? There are those who dislike people who can be exceptionally charming, and those who like everyone who would not know how to flirt if given an instruction manual on it.
But I would say the connection is obvious in my case. I like people and I flirt with them as an expression of that affection and interest. Also, it's funny when people don't notice it.
I've got to uphold my reputation as a troublemaker, haven't I? And I'm certain you understand why it's enjoyable to perhaps feel smarter or more perceptive than others in such situations.

Re: 349idk
But you were not too teasing with Nero, I hope?
Re: 349idk
And, well, he survived! So I think I was fair enough.

Re: 349idk
So, has flirting become your hobby?

[He watches that with an amused smile.]
What appeals to you about it?

Re: 349idk
Not do I think liking people has any connection to flirting?
Re: 349idk
[And/or Cosmo has also done fucked up things at Jason, Levity has no idea but would not be surprised in the slightest.]
But also, Jason is a hip young man. Too much of a generation gap!
[He gives him a curious look at the second part, though.]
Really? Liking people has no connection to flirting?

Re: 349idk
And I would not argue that at least. Though it is cute you gain a sense of superiority from it.

Though it happens so rarely, it only makes the occassions it does all the more special.
