[He kisses Emet's cheek gently.]

Easily did you make friends. For work. For personal. Not unlike Azem, truthfully.

I'm not being self-deprecating, but you truly could have had your pick of anyone.

[He chuckles softly.]

Are you certain you're not being self-deprecating? Or merely doubting your worth, hmm?

But though you overestimate my qualities, you are right. I could have picked whoever I wanted. And I picked you and Azem.

I know my worth, benefits and flaws. You don't have to worry about my ego.

My nostalgia, was it? Not because you could bully me to practically make you anything after an adequate amount of fuss?

I would say that that was more of a very nice perk. But... I am moved to ask why you would let me do whatever I wanted like that. Because you enjoy being bullied?

I do. Though you never would have gotten me to admit it back then.

And perhaps I enjoyed that certain smile you had when you finally got your way. After the appropriate amount of effort, of course.

Do you still enjoy it, then? Should I pester you more?

[Not necessarily true. It just might be different things that fluster him now.]

[He takes his hand in the meantime.]

Though I imagine you enjoy being bullied just as much.

[Oh, he does know Emet is still easy enough to bully now. Rubbing his fingers against Emet's hand affectionately, a playful smile on his face.]

[Well, it's obviously enough a challenge.]

[Making sure to make eye contact, responding to that challenge.]

[He turns to face him and takes control of both of his arms abusing BARiTONES abilities. He doesn't do more than use the ability to twine their fingers together for now.]

[He smirks smugly at that, leaning in slightly.]

[Tilting his head with a small laugh.]

Not a moment of fluster? Well, you were always adaptable.

Or perhaps I've simply grown to expect great things from you?

'Great things'? I wouldn't have the faintest what that is.

[He drops puppeteering but pulls him close by their joined hands. He kisses his cheek, his jaw, his ear.]

Am I getting warmer?

[He smiles, tipping his head into it slightly. He just really likes attention?]

I would say so, yes.

[Freeing one of his hands to tug at his waist, pulling him close. All the while, he laughs into his skin.]

I love you.

[He lets it roll off in the ancient tongue.]

[He chuckles in response too, wrapping his arms around Emet's neck. You've fallen into his sappy trap!]
