[He simply smiles and places his other hand on Levity's chest, sinking it into his soul gently, expertly. He finds that glowing core that makes up the central part of Hythlodaeus, wraps his fingers around it, and pulls his soul from his body to cup in his hands, held with the utmost care.]
In truth, Levity does not explicitly remember what it is like to join or separate souls, and there's a brief moment of surprise in addition to his curiosity as Lahabrea reaches inside his being - but there is no fear. He knows he's safe.
And there's a curious sense of peace at being held like this, even if - no, perhaps exactly because he's so vulnerable like this. Fortunately, vulnerability is not a hard matter for Hythlodaeus - at least not here, not with Lahabrea.

He pulls Hythlodaeus into his own soul after a moment. Not merging, definitely not that, but holding him safely in the warmth of his soul, letting him feel affection and protectiveness and well, giving him the chance to rest like that, with nothing to worry or occupy him but a feeling of peace and belonging.]
It's definitely incredibly peaceful; slowly, the tension drains out of Hythlodaeus's being, the fear and desperation and anger he usually tries to keep under wraps evening out somewhat. How good it is, to not have to be afraid, confused, struggling all the time; to have certainty in the future and to know that he is loved. In a sense, all the scars and negativity he's experienced since arriving to Production grow over his heart like a blackened shell, hiding the glow; but here and now, Lahabrea's affection and care help wash it away.]
[He will keep him like this until they wake up, letting him be comforted, encouraging that relaxation, the feeling of safety, the gentle shine of his soul coming out of that shell of pain and fear and loneliness.
Whether it's nice to wake up from that dream or awful, who can say, but the dream is peaceful and relaxing to the very end.]
[It definitely leaves him feeling wistful once he wakes up enough to realize that his days won't feel like this, on the whole. But still, it's much better to have had that peace and relaxation.
